Namaskar, Today, my Presidential Election prediction became a reality. This prediction was not based on politics, but in astrological facts related to the US independence chart and the annual Tithi Pravesh chart for 2008. I must point out that it was made on May 26th, 2008 even before Obama was nominated for president. As an astrological exercise, the result of my prediction is considered a success! God Bless America.

Namaskar. If Barack Obama is to become president as my prediction indicates, his annual Tithi Pravesh chart must be a favorable one. Barack Obama, born August 4th 1961 at: 9:06 am Leo Ascendant: One may think that a Leo ascendant (Su) will be a perfect candidate for the role. A quick look at the TP for the Leo ascendant birth time shows that Sa rules the Vedic weekday and also aspects the lagna. Sa is a functional malefic for Leo lagna. 7:24 pm Capricorn Ascendant: As mentioned above, in TP chart Sa rules the weekday (Saturday) and is a functional benefic for this ascendant. In TP Mo is in Taurus the 3rd house very favorable and exalted; he will not think about defeat. A very emotional year ahead with Su, Me, Ve, and Ke in Cancer the 5th house; and lots of energy under control (for future release) indicated by Ma and Sa in Leo the 6th house. Ju is in Sagittarius the 10th house. 1:06 pm Libra Ascendant: The TP for the Libra ascendant seems favorable. Sa is a functional benefic for the natal lagna. Jupiter is in the ascendant, and the ascendant is in the 3rd house from natal lagna (just like in Leo and Capricorn ascendant above, but this is not necessarily favorable). Mo is in Aries the 5th house giving intuition to make quick decisions during this year. Many planets in the 6th house will prepare him to protect and provide a variety of public services for his people and the world. Organization and traveling is indicated by the occupants of the 9th house. Which ascendant do you think is the most favorable for Obama? |

Namaskar, After some research on Barack Obama’s birth time, I found out there are multiple claims to his unknown time of birth. Even the so-called ‘official’ birth certificate appears to be a fake. To follow up on my Presidential prediction, an exact birth time is needed in order to draw Obama’s Tithi Pravesh chart. In the next few days I will publish my findings from different lagnas as seen from the Arudha of the 3rd house.

 Namaskar, Looking at the US independence chart and at the annual TP chart for 2008, I predict yet another close/controversial election. The annual TP chart has Virgo lagna. The 10th house in Gemini represents the current administration, and its lord Mercury (also lagna lord) is in Taurus the 12th there from. The 3rd lord Mars, representing the opposition, is in the 12th house in the annual chart. Mercury is in the 6th house from natal lagna, indicating a problematic year. Ironically, Mercury and Mars are eternal enemies, but neither one of them is looking good so far; both of them receive a freezing glance from Saturn in the 12th conjunct Mars. By November 4, both planets will be in the 2nd house of the annual TP chart conjunct with a debilitated Sun in Libra. So what does this all mean; it means that the people find themselves looking at the current administration trying to look good in the end and wishing they were gone (Mercury in 12th from 10th house) and at the same time wishing for liberation through their choice for the opposition (Mars in the 12th house). The debilitated Sun on Election Day indicates that the entire nation is tired of the problems this year has brought so far. Mars will move aggressively towards the 5th house trying to assure a wining position, but Mercury is a faster moving planet. By inauguration day, Mercury, Sun, Rahu, and debilitated Jupiter will be restricted in Capricorn, but Mars will be very active in Sagittarius getting ready to be exalted sometime in late January when it moves to Capricorn. The people will celebrate.

 Namaskar, Very simple. This website was born with Jupiter and Moon in the ascendant. There are several variants of this Yoga. In this particular case, Jupiter was in its own sign conjunct Moon in the ascendant; coincidentally, the bhava with the highest number of bindus in my Ashtakavarga. "You will defeat your enemies like a lion" according to sage Parashara. This Yoga gives power, leadership, and wealth. |
